Energy-efficient products ― free

Installed in all living units with natural gas space and/or water heating systems.

1.5 gallons per minute (gpm) showerhead1

  • Made of corrosion-resistant, high-impact ABS thermoplastic, the showerheads are self cleaning and maintenance free. We replace 2.0 gpm (or higher) showerheads with 1.5 gpm, energy-efficient showerheads in each living unit.

1.5 gpm kitchen and bathroom faucet aerator(s)1

  • Each aerator is constructed of long-lasting Celcon plastic and features flow control so no loss of water pressure is experienced.
    1 Only units with natural gas water-heating systems are eligible.

Air sealing service ― free2

Technicians test each unit for air infiltration and seal leaks that may reduce heating and cooling loss in your building up to 20 percent.* Other potential benefits:

  • Reduced use of heating and cooling system

  • Reduced drafts and increased comfort
  • Reduced or eliminated ice damming
  • Reduced pest infiltration, dust, pollen and humidity

Programmable thermostats ― free

Weekday/weekend programming capability for heating and cooling schedules means less wear and tear on the furnace and air conditioner because the system only runs when necessary. Saves about 10 percent* on heating and cooling bills.

Eligibility

  • Multifamily buildings with two to eight units may be eligible.
  • Single-family residences are not eligible.
  • Eligible natural gas rate classes include: Rg1, Fg1 or Fg2.
