Generating Facilities
The We Energies electric generating system includes 24 generating faclilities with a
capacity of about 6,100 megawatts, located throughout Wisconsin
and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Fossil Fuels
Coal
More than half of our total electric-generating capacity comes from our six coal-fueled power plants. About
25,000 tons of coal is used each day to meet our customer's electricity demand. |
