You receive bill credits, even if we never turn off your air conditioner (AC).

How Energy Partners works

Your Energy Partners device allows us to turn off your AC compressor during rare times (cycling history) of extreme electricity demand. This is called a cycling event. Your furnace fan still circulates air in your house during an event, which can occur from noon to 11 p.m., May 15 through Sept. 15. The time your unit is off and amount of your bill credits depends on your option choice.

Which device is right for you?

Bill credits* and cycling options

• $50: AC compressor may be off up to 6 consecutive hours in a single day.
• $40: AC compressor may be off up to 4 consecutive hours in a single day.
• $12: AC compressor may be off 45 minutes of each hour during a cycling event.

*Bill credits appear between May 15 and Sept. 15. If installation or enrollment is after May 15, you receive prorated credits. Allow 4-6 weeks for installation.
